Part-Time Kindergarten Teacher
King Alfred Academy is looking to hire a part-time Kindergarten teacher. The position’s hours will begin at 8:10 AM and end at 3:50 PM every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The successful applicant will have teaching experience, especially in phonics. This can be in the classroom or in the home.
We seek teachers who exemplify the life that we desire our students to live. We want teachers who follow the Lord passionately, who are active members of a church, and who have a biblically formed worldview that they can pass along to their students. We expect our teachers to have expertise in the subjects they teach, to be able to communicate that information in an engaging and interactive way, and who are able to manage a classroom effectively. Great teachers are life-long learners. We desire teachers who are continual learners themselves so that they can lead their students by example.
The position will start in August of 2026. There is potential for the position to be full time for the right candidate.

Full-Time Latin Teacher
King Alfred Academy is looking to hire a Latin teacher. The successful applicant will have teaching experience, a working knowledge of Latin. The ability to teach additional subjects at the high school is an asset.
