First day of school will be Tuesday, September 8, 2020. We are located at 1373 Lobsinger Line, Waterloo, ON, N2J 4G8.
To glorify God by giving children a classical and Christ-centred education that equips them for a life of learning, excellence, wisdom, discipline and virtue.
We aspire to graduate generations of biblically informed young men and women who have a heart for the community, the ability to radically influence the culture for Christ, the courage to take a stand for the truth and the faith to believe that with God, all things are possible.
We believe that Christ is the centre and the starting point of all learning and wisdom. Through prayer and petition, students are taught to view all of life under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
We follow a timeless and traditional classical model of education that moves students through the trivium – grammar, logic and rhetoric stages – matching student growth to specific ages.
We are a ministry of Trinity Bible Chapel whereby the doctrine and convictions of the academy are guarded by the elders of the church. This ensures that students are discipled according to God’s word.
We believe education is not merely accumulating knowledge, but growing in wisdom (how to apply knowledge) and virtue (how to apply knowledge with moral excellence), through faith and repentance.
We are committed to both academic and spiritual excellence through a comprehensive curriculum while encouraging imagination and promoting the development of body, mind and soul.
We believe that parents have the primary role in a child’s education, discipleship and growth. Therefore, we are a community of families who are involved and invested in the life of the academy.
Our school board is collecting names of prospective families, children and staff. We would love to hear about your interest to assist us in launching September 2020.
As we wait for our school to go through the incorporation process and application for charitable status, we are accepting donations through Trinity Bible Chapel as the school will be a ministry of the church. You can submit cash/cheques through regular Sunday morning offerings by specifying “King Alfred Academy” on the envelope.
Alternatively, charitable donations can be given via the Church Center App by selecting “King Alfred Academy”. Lastly, donations can be made online by clicking the button below. Please adjust the dropdown menu to “King Alfred Academy” to ensure your donation is designated properly. Thank you for your generosity!
